To ensure safe and effective treatment, always use potable tap water with a pH between 6.5 and 8.5, as defined by EPA standards.
If your local tap water is very soft or has low mineral content, the treatment will be less effective. In such cases, it is safe and advisable to use non-carbonated bottled mineral water instead to improve conductivity.
Please do not use these types of water, such as distilled, filtered, reverse osmosis (RO) water, saline or medicated solutions, as they can be less effective and may cause irritation.
Do not add any products or drugs to the water.
