Procedure for Dermadry old version
- The device is intended only for single-patient use in-home therapy.
- The device should be cleaned per the following steps after each treatment and also more extensively after every 5 treatments (or earlier as needed) as follows:
General before cleaning step
Cautions:
- Clean hands or wear gloves before installing and uninstalling the device.
- Always use a soft cloth for cleaning.
- Always use warm water at 140°- 195°F (60°- 90°C) for cleaning and rinsing.
- Before cleaning, ensure the device is turned off and all the cables are disconnected from the controller.
Cleaning steps after each treatment
- Thoroughly wash out the Towels or Underarm Pockets with clean warm water (do not add detergents or cleaning agents).
- Rigorously squeeze-dry the Towels or Underarm Pockets to remove excess moisture.
- Let the Towels or Underarm Pockets air-dry.
NOTE: Do not store in a closed container or case until completely dry.
- Dry the electrodes with a soft cloth. To prevent calcium deposits, ensure to remove any moisture from the treatment electrodes after each treatment.
- Dry the case with a soft cloth and let it air-dry
NOTE: Do not close the case to allow it to dry
Cleaning steps after every 5 treatments (or earlier as needed)
Controller, Case and Electrodes:
- Wipe with moist cloth.
- For best results, first dampen the cloth with a mild regular detergent solution (e.g. Dawn -mix 5 ml per 4 litres of water or another equivalent detergent and concentration). Refer to the detergent’s label for its specific instructions for use.
Controller
- Completely and vigorously rinse out the cloth until the water is clear, remove excess water from the cloth until slightly dampened and wipe off the controller again to remove any residual detergent solution.
- Let them air dry.
Electrodes and Case :
- Rinse clean with running water for 30 seconds ensuring all surfaces and corners are rinsed, and then repeat this step again. Then wipe dry with a dry cloth.
- Let them air dry.
Towels and Underarm Pockets:
- Hand or machine wash with water and a mild regular detergent solution (Dawn -mix 5 ml per 4 liters of water- or another equivalent detergent and concentration).
- Rinse thoroughly under running water and rigorously squeeze out water.
- Let them air dry.

Do not use any other cleaning method to clean your device. The provided cleaning procedure was designed to maximize the lifespan of the device.
