To receive reimbursement, you must first contact your insurance provider for a claim form. Dermadry does not file claims or bill insurance directly, so you will need to submit a reimbursement request after your purchase. Depending on your insurance provider's policies, you may be eligible for full or partial reimbursement on the cost of your device.

Most Canadians can submit Dermadry as an electrotherapy device with a prescription and an itemized invoice for reimbursement review.

1. If you have a Health Care Spending Account, submit the claim under HCSA with your prescription and invoice.
2. If you do not have an HCSA, check whether your private insurance's core plan covers medical devices. Any eligible amount not reimbursed may be claimed on your tax return if CRA rules are met. CRA instructs claimants to retain receipts and supporting documents for verification.
